A smartphone app developed by the Department of Health and Social Care, in partnership with Apple and Google, has been released for iPhone and Android.
On Friday 18th September, the Department of Health and Social Care released their winter plan for the adult social care sector. The plan, in effect until March 2021, details the support services it aims to provide across a large number of subjects relating to the coronavirus pandemic, and also the actions which health care providers should take during this time.
Back in mid-May Boris Johnson announced a £600 million Infection Control Fund to support adult social care providers with the main focus being on reducing the rate of COVID-19 transmission in and between care homes.
We see daily, in the news and on our social feeds how people and communities are pulling together now more than ever, but none more so than you, our customers, ensuring that the people in your care continue receiving first class service, no matter the cost.
