Difficulty viewing historic care data for service users
If you use traditional paper methods to record your residents’ care there may several factors involved in the process that slow you down. Storing physical files in cabinets has the potential to become unorganised causing you to spend excess time looking for the right information, or in a worst-case scenario, records can be misplaced or damaged. And if you need to go back years to find historic records it’s possible you have moved those files into an archive or have scanned them onto your computer, only adding more steps to your workload.
Without a proper system in place, even with digital access to your files, it can become extremely time-consuming to retrieve several years’ of health and care information. CareDocs eliminates this problem entirely – you won’t need to find any additional storage solutions or scan any more documents (unless you want to add supporting materials to the system). Our comprehensive software keeps your work available at all times and in one place.
Easily accessible & searchable care records
In just a handful of clicks you and your staff can access just about everything you need to know about the health or care of an individual or group of residents. Our digital Daily Notes, Charts, Forms and Resident Reports give you instant information about the people in your care. To make locating events or records even easier, simply change the criteria of what you want to search for.
For example, you can find entries relating to certain individuals, between set time frames and regarding specific events. You may even wish to choose to see results recorded by individual staff members. Additionally, you can browse through previous versions of Care Plans or view answers to questions which are no longer included in the current Care Assessment.
Evidence compliance & traceability
Our trusted evidence-based features, like Daily Notes and Resident Forms can help demonstrate your setting is safe, caring, responsive and well-led, satisfying several compliance requirements set by regulatory bodies. This also gives you the benefit of having documentation of ongoing care from the point the resident was added to the CareDocs system. All records are permanently saved so you can be confident that you’re looking at a complete and up to date list, and if you’re curious to know if any changes have been made to certain event records, simply check the edit log.
